Each option is built around individualised programming, technical instruction and steady progression.

Full Coaching

All training sessions are coached face to face. Technique is refined in real time, progression is managed carefully, and adjustments are made as needed. Your entire training process is overseen directly.

This is the highest level of personalisation available. It suits those who want close supervision, detailed technical coaching and a fully managed strength programme.

Clients in this tier also receive access to the TurnKey Coach app for structured tracking, communication and long term progression planning.

ALL THE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

I’m an older adult. Can I still strength train?

Yes. Strength training is one of the most effective ways to maintain muscle mass, bone density, balance and overall function as you age. Training is scaled to your current ability and adjusted carefully over time. Programmes are designed around what you can do now, not what you used to be able to do. Progress is steady and appropriate to your stage of life.

Do I need to be fit or experienced before I start?

No. Many clients begin with little or no previous strength training experience. Coaching focuses on learning the fundamentals properly and building confidence alongside strength. Training is adjusted to your starting point and progressed gradually.

I have injuries or health conditions. Can I still train?

In most cases, yes. Strength training can support joint health, improve function and rebuild capacity following injury. Programmes are adapted to respect any existing conditions while still allowing meaningful progress. If required, training can be coordinated alongside advice from your healthcare provider.

Where are you based?

In person coaching is delivered from Taylor’s Strength Training in Liverpool city centre. Taylor’s is a professional strength facility with dedicated equipment for barbell training. Sessions are structured and focused, even though the gym is not exclusively private. Online coaching is available regardless of location.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No long term contracts are required. Coaching operates on a rolling basis. This allows flexibility while maintaining structure and accountability.

When can I train?

All in person sessions are scheduled by appointment. Training times are arranged to fit around work and other commitments. Availability varies depending on demand.

I’m a bit nervous about training in a gym. What is the environment like?

Taylor’s Strength Training is a focused strength facility rather than a commercial gym floor. Sessions are structured and purposeful. You will be coached directly and guided through each stage of your training, so you are never left unsure of what to do.

What if I travel often?

Programmes are designed to accommodate real life. Training can be adjusted around travel, work schedules and other commitments. Online clients access their programme through the TurnKey Coach app, allowing sessions to be completed and tracked from any suitable gym.

Can you create a custom programme for me?

Yes. All coaching options are built around your goals, training background and current capacity. Whether you train in person or online, your programme is individualised and progressed over time.

Can I book a drop in session?

Yes. Taylor’s offers an £8 day pass. If you would like to book a one off coached session, this can be arranged in advance.
